Klaus Kaartinen appointed as Director of Communications of the Finnish Immigration Service

Mr Klaus Kaartinen has been appointed as Director of Communications of the Finnish Immigration Service. He is leaving the post of Head of Communications with the National Bureau of Investigation to join the Finnish Immigration Service. Mr Kaartinen has worked for the National Bureau of Investigation since 1999. He has a master’s degree (MA).

The post of Director of Communications is new within the Finnish Immigration Service. The Director of Communications will lead and develop the Finnish Immigration Service's Customer Relations and Communications Unit. Mr Kaartinen’s first day in the post will be 1 September 2017.

A total of 26 persons applied for the position.
