30.10.2018 13.28
Press release

If you are coming to Finland for seasonal work, you must get a specific permit for it.

Seasonal work refers to work in agriculture or tourism, for example, that is done at certain times of the year. The maximum length of seasonal work is nine months.

We will publish weekly updates about the processing queue. Follow Migri.fi! We recommend that you do not ask after the status of your application by phone because our customer service does not have more accurate information than what you can find in this customer bulletin.

You can use the e-service Enter Finland to apply for a residence permit for seasonal work or a certificate for seasonal work. If you submit your application in the e-service, your application will be processed faster. Applications for seasonal work permits and certificates are always considered urgent. Applications are decided in the order they have been submitted.
