The Finnish Immigration Service and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland are often in the headlines, and not always in a flattering light. How do reputation crises affect work at the grass root level? Can a reputation be managed? Is losing a reputation a crisis?

The Finnish Immigration Service and the Clerical Association of the Church of Finland will be organizing a panel discussion at the SuomiAreena debate forum in Pori. The discussion will tackle the issue of reputation crises with experts in the matter as panellists.

Discussion: Reputation crisis veterans the Church and the Finnish Immigration Service: From black-and-white to colour.

Time: Thursday 19 July at 10.00–11.00

Place: Town hall courtyard, Hallituskatu 12

The participants in the discussion will be Head of Section at the Asylum Unit Juha Similä from the Finnish Immigration Service, General Secretary Mari-Anna Auvinen from the Finnish Ecumenical Council, Media Strategist Lilly Korpiola, and Journalist Yagmur Özberkan.

The discussion will be moderated by Director of Communications Klaus Kaartinen from the Finnish Immigration Service and Program Manager Kimmo Saares from the Communications Centre of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.
