Enter Finland, the e-service of the Finnish Immigration Service, is expanding.
Applying for a residence permit will become even easier than before because now you can also apply for a permanent residence permit in Enter Finland. The reform will come into force on 16 June 2017.
Previously, you have already been able to apply online for a first residence permit and an extended permit.
In the autumn, you will also be able to apply in the e-service for a permanent permit for a minor child
During the first stage you cannot apply in Enter Finland for a permanent residence permit for a minor child. In the autumn, the service will improve further and then you can also apply online for a permanent residence permit for a minor child.
We will inform you when the service is expanding to also cover minor children’s applications for permanent residence permits.
When you have applied for a permanent residence permit in Enter Finland, book an appointment at a service point to prove your identity. You do not need to come and queue with a waiting number.
