We will keep updating these pages as the situation changes. You will also find information on the Finnish Immigration Service’s Twitter account (@Maahanmuuttovir) and on Facebook (facebook.com/Maahanmuuttovir/).
Because of the coronavirus situation, all parts of our website are not completely up to date. Unfortunately, some of the content may initially be available only in Finnish. The information will be translated into Swedish and English as soon as possible.
We recommend that you wear a face mask when you visit a service point
You can bring your own mask. Unfortunately, we cannot hand out masks to all customers who visit our service points in Finland. Please read carefully the Recommendation and instructions on the use of face masks on THL’s website. When you are indoors in our service points, please wear a mask following the recommendations. In the waiting room, allow a sufficient safety distance (one to two metres) between yourself and other people in the room.
