International House Helsinki (IHH)
IHH, or International House Helsinki, offers new immigrants information about various services and issues, all under one roof. The service is intended for immigrants who have recently moved to the Helsinki metropolitan area, as well as companies and employers who have questions related to foreign labour and recruiting.
Actors, such as Tax Administration, TE Services, Local Register Office and Kela, are also involved in IHH. Read more on the website of IHH.
EU registration at IHH
The Finnish Immigration Service handles EU registration by appointment at IHH. The Helsinki-info service point operating in IHH offers no appointment necessary guidance and advice on matters related to immigration.
If you submit your application through Enter Finland, you can pay using the service. You can pay with a credit or debit card at IHH. Cash is not accepted by the IHH service point of the Finnish Immigration Service.
Book your appointment online
If you wish to visit the IHH service point of the Finnish Immigration Service, you must book an appointment in advance using the booking system.
- Book an appointment. Select EU registration as the service category and registration of an EU citizen as the service. Select International House Helsinki as the service point. The service will show you the first available appointment times.
- Complete your application in the Enter Finland service or on paper.
- Bring all the necessary attachments with you. Check what documents you need as attachments. Remember to also bring a certificate of identity and a credit/debit card if you have not paid for your application through Enter Finland. You cannot pay in cash at IHH.
- Arrive on time. We will call you by name. You do not need a numbered ticket and do not need to register when you arrive.
