Fast track: Instructions for employers

If your employee intends to come to Finland with a residence permit for a specialist, an ICT residence permit or an EU Blue Card, he or she can apply via the fast track service.

With the fast track service, the employee can get a residence permit within 14 days and arrive in Finland immediately after the residence permit has been granted. If your employee is already in Finland, he or she will not be able to apply using the fast track service.

Fast-tracking the application requires that both the employee and the employer use Enter Finland

After your employee has submitted an application in Enter Finland, you must add the terms of employment to the employee’s application in Enter Finland for Employers within two (2) working days.

If your employees use the fast track service, you cannot pay for their applications in Enter Finland. In order to use the fast track service, employees must pay for their applications themselves in Enter Finland before submitting the application.
