Service by publication

If it has not been possible to serve a customer with a decision in any other way, the Finnish Immigration Service may serve the decision by publication. 

When service by publication is used, the Finnish Immigration Service publishes a list of the customer numbers of the customers on whom it has not been possible to serve a decision. The list of the customer numbers will be available on the website of the Finnish Immigration Service for at least 37 days.

If you find your customer number on the list, you can call the service number stated on the list for more information.

Service by publication is based on the Act Amending the Administrative Procedure Act (432/2019), sections 62, 62a and 62b. In Finnish and in Swedish:
