Group appointments at Finnish Immigration Service
Booking a group appointment is possible for large groups who need to visit the Finnish Immigration Service together. The purpose of group appointments is to facilitate customer service for groups. You can request a group appointment in the following cases:
- You are an employer whose employees must register their right of residence as EU citizens or apply for an extended permit.
- You represent an immigration guidance provider or an educational institution, for example, and all members of the group you represent apply for a permit on the same grounds.
- The application grounds may be travel documents for quota refugees or students’ EU registrations, for example.
You can request a group appointment for a service point or request a pop-up event. A pop-up event means having an official of the Finnish Immigration Service temporarily serve in an agreed location, such as the premises of an employer. Group appointments must be reserved at least one month in advance.
- You can request a group appointment for a service point if your group consists of at least 5 people.
- You can request a pop-up event if your group consists of at least 20 people.
Please note that we cannot guarantee a group appointment or pop-up event: each request will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Preparing for a appointment
Each applicant in the group must complete their own application before the appointment. To allow for quicker customer service, we recommend that all applicants submit online applications in the Enter Finland online service.
All group members must bring the original attachments that are required for their applications. The documents that are required depend on the grounds for the permit. Check the required attachments in the instructions given in the appointment confirmation email. Instruct your group accordingly.
