We once again wish to remind you that the most important step at the moment is to make sure that you have registered your right of residence in Finland. This is essential, because the proposed special act and the extended right of residence guaranteed by it after Brexit would only apply to those who have registered their right of residence before the final withdrawal date.
The United Kingdom has been granted an extension to the negotiations to leave the EU. We will give instructions to the British citizens living in Finland as soon as any new decisions are made.
