Delays in delivery of residence permit cards to Russia

There may be delays in the delivery of residence permit cards to Russia. After a positive decision has been issued, it may take several weeks for the residence permit card to arrive.

The delays in the delivery of residence permit cards are due to the irregular mail connections to Russia.

If you have received a positive decision, you will get your residence permit card from the Finnish mission when your card has arrived. Please wait until the Finnish mission contacts you.

The delays in the delivery of residence permit cards only concern customers in Russia who have applied for a first residence permit.
