Enter Finland was unavailable on 5 October and between 7 and 8 October 2021 due to a temporary vulnerability

The vulnerability, which was discovered earlier this week, has now been fixed, and the service is available as normal.
As a result of the vulnerability, certain users’ data may have been visible to other users. The vulnerability affected a total of 45 users, who will be contacted personally next week.
The vulnerability was only present in the system for a limited time, and log data does not show evidence of misuse.
The problem concerned application drafts. Sent applications and attachments were not affected.
We apologise for the inconvenience to our customers.
There is no need to worry
Your Enter Finland data is safe, and the vulnerability has been fixed. The Enter Finland service is available as normal.
You can now log in to the online service
If you have received a request for additional information,
- reply by 22 October 2021. You will be given two additional weeks to provide the requested information. You do not need to contact us to let us know that you have been unable to log in to the Enter Finland service.
If your permit expired on 7 or 8 October 2021,
- submit your application for an extended permit using the Enter Finland service on Sunday 10 October 2021 at the latest. If you follow these instructions, the validity of your permit is not interrupted, as applications could not be submitted due to reasons related to the Finnish authorities.
