Press release

On 6 April 2021, Helsinki service point will start operating on new premises at the address Kaupparaitti 10, 00700 Helsinki. While the service point is moving, you will not be able to visit it by appointment or use the queue number service between 22 March and 5 April 2021.

You will find Malmi service point in the Finnish Immigration Service’s appointment system under Helsinki: Malmi service point. Appointments for Malmi service point will be available in January.

You can visit the service point of Käenkuja until 19 March 2021. We are striving to make extra appointments available at Käenkuja service point in January.

If your permit or travel document expires between 2 March and 5 April 2021, try and book one of the additional appointments in January. If none are available, you can visit a service point and use a queue number. However, please avoid using the services with a queue number between 22 December 2020 and 8 January 2021. We have exceptional opening hours between these dates, and the services available for queueing customers will be limited.

It is a good idea to submit your application on Enter Finland. When you submit your application using this online service, the processing of your matter starts immediately, and you do not need to make an appointment for proving your identity in a rush.
