Student – remember the increased means of support requirement

As of 1 March 2013, the amount required to guarantee the means of support has increased.

A student who start his/her studies this autumn must have access to:

• 6,720 euros per year, or
• 560 euros per month.

In order to receive a residence permit, you must have sufficient funds to support living in Finland. Please ensure that you have sufficient funds to support living in Finland before you apply for a residence permit.
