Submit your applications to the police until the end of the year

Our aim is to start booking appointments during November of this year. Then you will be able to book an appointment from the beginning of January 2017 at a service point of the Finnish Immigration Service.

Until the end of this year, all applications for permits for foreign nationals should be submitted at police service points.

The change does not affect asylum matters

You should still submit your asylum application at a police station. In 2017, the Finnish Immigration Service processes asylum applications and carries out asylum interviews in Helsinki, Raisio, Lappeenranta and Oulu.
