In 2020, the service points of the Finnish Immigration Service are open as follows:
Helsinki: on all weekdays
Kuopio, Lappeenranta, Oulu, Raisio, Tampere and Vaasa: on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Lahti and Rovaniemi: on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays
The service point in Lahti is exceptionally open also on 3 January, 10 January and 17 January.
All service points are closed on mid-week holidays.
Book an appointment online
You can book an appointment for submitting an application. Do not book an appointment if you do not need it.
If you cannot come to an appointment that you have booked, remember to cancel it in the appointment system. If you do not have the reservation key and PIN code, cancel your appointment by sending an email to migri@migri.fi.
If you have booked an appointment but are not there when the appointment begins, you will be charged a fee of 50 euros.
