Network problems cause backlog in our telephone services

Recurring interruptions in the data connections have lately hindered and caused backlog in our telephone service. The problems often start so suddenly that we are not able to warn our customers about them in advance.

The telephone service uses the electronic case management system that is used by the whole immigration administration. When the connections don’t work, it takes longer than usual to find information. That is why the line is busy and customers find it more difficult than usual to get through on the phone to the customer service.

Sudden interruptions in the Enter Finland e-service may also occur.

We will inform you in advance or as soon as possible of planned interruptions or interruptions that last longer than usual with customer bulletins on our website and on Twitter.

The Government ICT Centre Valtori is working on solving the problems.
