Estimates of processing times have been updated

Publication date 19.11.2021 15.41
Press release

We have updated the estimated processing times of applications on 18–19 November 2021.

The estimated processing times have been updated in chatbot Kamu, in the Processing Time Checker and on the pages containing information about specific applications on the website migri.fi.

The number of incoming applications and unexpected variation in the number of applications within an individual application category, among other things, affect the estimated processing times. We are developing the processing of applications by means of automation.

In some applications the range of variation in the estimated processing time is large. In such applications, the estimated processing time varies according to how much further clarification is needed for the processing of the application. When we do not need to ask for further documents and the application has been filled in correctly, the processing of the application is fast.

The estimated processing time has been updated for the following applications
