Customer service point to shorten opening hours in July
The Finnish Immigration Service customer service point will be open in July exceptionally only at 9 a.m.–12 noon. However, documents can be left at the Service’s reception window on Monday–Friday at 8 a.m.–4.15 p.m.
The customer service telephone will be at your service for the whole summer as normal on Monday–Friday at 9 a.m.–3 p.m. You can also get service at the Citizens’ Service Office at the Helsinki City Hall throughout the summer on Monday–Friday at 9 a.m.–7 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
During the summer period the Finnish Immigration Service will have a smaller staff than normal due to vacations. For this reason there may sometimes be hold-ups in customer service and processing may be delayed. The customer service opening hours are being shortened to ensure that enough staff are available to process applications even during the height of the holiday period.
We respectfully ask our customers to remember that repeated enquiries or requests for urgency will not speed up the processing of applications. We apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused to you during the summer holiday period.
From the beginning of August our customer service point will again be ready to serve you as normal on Monday–Friday at 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
