The current situation in Ukraine has a significant impact on the lives of many of our customers. We are receiving a large number of enquiries, including questions related to seasonal workers and family members in Ukraine and Finland.
We have put together a list of answers to the frequently asked questions (FAQ) regarding the situation in Ukraine on our website. We ask our customers to read through the FAQ, which includes information on who to contact in your particular situation. The page will be updated as the situation develops.
The FAQ will be published in English, Swedish and Ukrainian.
Changes to the operations of the Finnish Immigration Service due to the current situation in Ukraine
- It is not currently possible to send residence permit cards to Ukraine. We are looking into alternative arrangements regarding the delivery of residence permit cards.
- As of 24 February 2022, the Finnish Immigration Service has temporarily suspended issuing negative decisions that would involve removal from the country to Ukraine. We are assessing the security situation in Ukraine. The Finnish Immigration Service always uses up-to-date country information when making decisions.
