Press release

The renewal of the Finnish Immigration Service's e-service is complete and the service has a new name: Enter Finland. Any applications pending in the old electronic services have been automatically transferred to the new service.

Enter Finland is clearer and easier to use

Enter Finland has been developed in collaboration with our customers to make it as clear and easy to use as possible. When you choose the type of application you wish to submit, the service will guide you forward step by step, informing you of the stage of completion and the information still missing from your application.

Explore the new service

The new service is available at: https://enterfinland.fi/

Pending issues transferred to the new service

Your personal details and pending matters have been transferred to the new service, old decisions and drafts have not.

If you had an incomplete draft that you didn't have time to send, the draft has not been transferred to the new service. You will have to fill out a completely new application.

Log in the same way as for the old service

Log in to the new service with your old IDs on the Login page. When you log in for the first time, the service will ask you to accept the new terms and conditions.

You can log in to the new service using either your email address or one of the following high-security IDs:

  • online banking credentials from a Finnish bank
  • an identity card with a chip
  • a mobile certificate

If your user name for the old service was your phone number and you had an ongoing matter, but didn't have time to change your user name before the revamp, do this:

  • create a new account in the Enter Finland service
  • then contact technical support e-support@migri.fi

Technical support will create a link between your ongoing matter and the new service, so that you can follow the progress of your application in the new service.

We informed our customers about the new service by email, but unfortunately not all of the emails reached our customers in time.

Technical problems with the service? Contact e-support@migri.fi

Should you experience technical problems in using the new e-service, please send an e-mail message to e-support@migri.fi.

The customer service is unable to assist in technical problems regarding e-service.

If you have general questions about applications, please read theinstructions on our websiteor call the customer service number.

If you detect any problems in the service, please send feedback

Because the service is completely new, it will be continuously developed in cooperation with customers. In the beginning, this may result in short interruptions. If you detect any problems in the service, please give feedback immediately by e-mail to e-support@migri.fi.
