Employers must make sure that their foreign employees have the required residence permit for an employed person or that they do not need a residence permit. An employer can ask their employees for a certificate issued by the Finnish Immigration Service of their right to work.
The Finnish Immigration Service has received so many requests for certificates that it currently takes approximately two months to receive a certificate.
We kindly ask you to wait patiently for your certificate. We are issuing certificates as quickly as possible.
