Webinar for employees and employers on applying for a residence permit 4 May 2023

The Finnish Immigration Service will host a webinar on residence permits on the basis of employment on 4 May 2023 from 1 to 2 p.m.

After signing up to the webinar, you will receive a link to the event via e-mail the day before. After the event, we will also send you a link to the recording via e-mail.

In the webinar, we will explain for example how to choose the correct residence permit on the basis of employment and discuss the role of the employer. Employers will also learn about employer certification.

The webinar is aimed at those applying for a residence permit on the basis of employment, their employers and other interested parties.

The webinar will be held in English and subtitles will be provided in the following languages:

• English
• Finnish
• Swedish
• Russian
• Turkish

The webinar will have a chat where you can ask questions about the employee’s residence permit process and the role of the employer. We will answer questions in the chat in English, Finnish or Swedish. Do not reveal any personal information in the chat.

The webinar will be published as a recording  

The recording of the webinar will be published on our website and our YouTube channel within a week of the event.
