Asylum seeker: Requests for a certificate of the right to work cannot be submitted at Finnish Immigration Service service points until further notice
Due to the coronavirus situation, requests for a certificate of an asylum seeker’s right to work cannot be submitted at the service points of the Finnish Immigration Service until further notice, starting from Thursday 19 March 2020.
You can submit your certificate request to the Finnish Immigration Service in writing
If you are an asylum seeker or the employer of an asylum seeker, you can submit a request for a certificate of the right to work to the Finnish Immigration Service in writing.
Fill in the form which is available on our website. For instructions on how to request a certificate and how to pay for it, see this page: migri.fi/certificate-requests
The certificate of the right to work will be posted to the address you have given either to the Finnish Immigration Service or to your reception centre. You cannot collect the certificate from a service point.
