Two work-related webinars coming up in August

The Finnish Immigration Service is arranging two work-related webinars together with the Regional State Administrative Agency and the public employment and business services (TE Services). Please sign up for the events in advance so that we can email you a link to the webinars in good time.

Webinar for employees

The webinar ”Welcome to work in Finland!” (in English) covers issues such as residence permits for employed persons, the online service Enter Finland, occupational safety and health, and working life in Finland. 

The webinar will be held on Monday 31 August 2020 at 10.00–11.30. You can sign up for the webinar here: https://link.webropolsurveys.com/S/A7D6605BF3ECA454.

The webinar is intended for persons applying for a residence permit for an employed person as well as for EU citizens. It does not cover issues concerning residence permits for, for example, specialists, researchers or entrepreneurs, or how to find work in Finland. 

The webinar is held in English.

Webinar for employers 

The webinar ”Työllistä ulkomailta” (Employ from Abroad, in Finnish) covers issues such as the role of the employer in the residence permit process, Enter Finland for Employers, occupational safety and health, and recruiting foreign labour.
