How to book a Brexit appointment
You can now book an appointment for applying for right of residence under the withdrawal agreement (‘Brexit application’) at a service point of the Finnish Immigration Service. Appointments are now available from 1 October 2020 to the end of the year. Appointment times for next year will be made available later in the autumn.
Brexit appointment times can be found in our booking service. Select EU registration as the service category and Brexit as the service.
You must book an appointment for handling Brexit-related matters. You cannot submit your application by just turning up and taking a waiting number.
You can fill in the application in our online service Enter Finland as of 1 October 2020, or using a paper form. For application instructions, please visit migri.fi/brexit/en. When you visit the service point, you must have your passport with you, and also a passport photo no more than six months old. Your fingerprints will be taken at the service point for the residence permit card.
If you have already registered your EU citizen’s right of residence and are not able to book a Brexit appointment before the end of the year, do not worry. You can apply for right of residence under the withdrawal agreement until 30 September 2021.
A ‘Brexit appointment’ should only be booked for the purpose of applying for right of residence under the withdrawal agreement or right of permanent residence under the withdrawal agreement.
