Fewer service numbers - same level of advice
The Finnish Immigration Service will streamline its telephone advisory service on citizenship issues, and asylum and refugee issues, from 1 October 2012. The ser-vice number selection will be reduced by three numbers. This will make it easier for customers to choose just the right number for the issue that concerns them.
Citizenship issues will be handled from one number: +358 (0)71 873 3650. All enquiries about Finnish citizenship will be answered from this number.
Two numbers will remain for asylum and refugee issues:
- Asylum issues and the related residence permit issues, asylum seeker's right to employment: +358 (0)71 873 3680
- Refugee travel documents and aliens' passports: 071 873 3640
Service numbers for residence permit issueswill remain the same.
Our experts will be available on our subject-specific service numbers, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10 and 11 a.m.
We will also serve you by phone via our customer service, from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
