Changes to customer service hours during the summer

During the summer months, the customer guidance services and service points of the Finnish Immigration Service are open as follows:

Service points

All service points of the Finnish Immigration Service will be closed on Midsummer Eve 24 June 2022.

The service point in Rovaniemi will be closed from 18 to 31 July 2022.

At the Oulu service point, the waiting number service is exceptionally open only on afternoons at 12.00–16.15 from Monday to Wednesday and on Friday during the following time periods:

• 13 to 19 June 2022
• 11 to 24 July 2022.

Apart from these exceptions, all service points are open normally. See the opening hours of service points.

Customer guidance services

Customer guidance services are closed on Midsummer Eve 24 June 2022. On 23 June, the day before Midsummer Eve, they will close at 12.00. 

Apart from the days mentioned above, the subject-specific service numbers and the service number for employers will be open normally during the summer months. See our website for the service hours of all customer service numbers.

Please note that it may take longer than usual for us to answer phone calls and emails during the summer holiday period from 20 June to 15 August 2022.

Use online services and ask Kamu the chatbot for advice

The online service Enter Finland is open every day. Answers to many common questions can also be found on our website.

Our chatbot, Kamu, answers questions on our website every day around the clock. Kamu gives answers to the most common questions in Finnish and English. You can also chat with Kamu to check your application's place in the queue or ask for videos on how to submit an application.
