Video shows how to use the Enter Finland e-service

The e-service of the Finnish Immigration Service has been redesigned. The new e-service called ‘Enter Finland’ was opened in June.

We have made video instructions about the Enter Finland e-service. The video presents the service and tells about which matters can be handled through the service.

You can watch only the parts that interest you

The video is divided into different parts. You can watch the whole video or only the parts that interest you:

1. You can take care of residence-related permit matters in the Enter Finland service
2. What does the Enter Finland service contain?
3. The websites of authorities can assist if you do not know which permit you can apply for
4. First, create a user account
5. Log in with an email address or a high security identifier
6. An application form is saved automatically in the background
7. The attachments of an application must be in Finnish, Swedish or English
8. Verify your identity by visiting an authority
9. Pay with a credit card or the online bank credentials of a Finnish bank
10. Finally, verify the information and send the application
11. Follow the progress of your application at the service
12. We will contact you if additional information is required
13. Report any changes or problems with making an appointment for the verification
14. Remember to log out when you are done
