The Finnish Immigration Service’s service points and telephone service will be closed on:
- Christmas Eve 24 December 2025
- Christmas Day 25 December 2025
- Boxing Day 26 December 2025
- New Year’s Day 1 January 2026
- Epiphany 6 January 2026.
The Rovaniemi service point will be closed from 29 December 2025 to 4 January 2026.
The Finnish Immigration Service’s service desk for EU citizens in International House Helsinki will be closed from 22 December 2025 to 6 January 2026.
Our telephone service and service points that are open on the following days will close at 12.00 noon on:
- Tuesday 23 December
- Wednesday 31 December.
The services of the service points and telephone service are available normally on other days.
Changes to opening hours of telephone service and of service points in Helsinki
Starting from 15 January 2026, the service points of the Finnish Immigration Service in Malmi, Helsinki and International House Helsinki will open at 10.30 on Thursdays. This change will not affect appointments already booked for the service points.
The telephone service will open at 10.30 on Thursdays starting from 8 January 2026.
