Service points of the Finnish Immigration Service are closed on 22–23 September 2022

All service points of the Finnish Immigration Service are closed on Thursday 22 September and on Friday 23 September 2022 due to staff training. Our waiting number service will be closed.

Is your residence permit or travel document expiring on 22–23 September 2022?

You can submit your residence permit application online via Enter Finland and prove your identity at a service point later. You can book an appointment for your visit or take a waiting number at the service point.

You cannot apply for an alien’s passport or a refugee travel document online. Visit a service point before your travel document expires. Book an appointment or take a waiting number at the service point.

Are you applying for an extended permit? If you prove your identity online, you do not necessarily need to visit a service point 

If you apply for an extended permit in the online service Enter Finland and use strong electronic identification by logging in with your online banking credentials, citizen certificate or mobile certificate, you do not necessarily need to visit a service point. After you have submitted your application, Enter Finland will tell you whether you need to visit a service point or not.
